Presenters will lay the theological foundation as to why and how Catholics are called to participate in political life through conscience formation to promote the Catholic social teaching principle of the common good.

Presenters will speak to the national historical reality of discrimination in the election process, and why/how certain communities were denied the right to vote, which violated a person’s innate human dignity.

Presenters will discuss the importance of local elections, how the role as a county clerk is to ensure a lawful election takes place, and encourage participants to be active in their local communities.
