Kids' Liturgy!
Due to Archdiocesan regulations we are not permitted to have in-person Children's Liturgy of the word right now. However, we do have a virtual option! Please check out our Kids' Liturgy page for a new video every week designed for kids in grades K5-4. www.hawb.org/kidsliturgy Religious Education The Religious Education program is for school-aged children in grades K5-10 who do not attend Holy Angels School or another Catholic school.
First Reconciliation and First Communion Students receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion in 2nd grade. The process begins in October with the reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and the sacrament of First Communion in April/May. Students who are older than 2nd grade who have not yet received these sacraments should contact the Faith Formation Office to begin the preparation process. Click here for more information Confirmation The Confirmation program kicks-off in spring of students' sophomore year with classes beginning in September of their junior year. Confirmation is celebrated during the Easter Season of their junior year. Click here for more information Youth Ministry The Youth Ministry program at Holy Angels is dedicated to serving the parish's high school youth to help bring them to their faith through education, leadership, and service opportunities. Journey is a religious development program for Washington County. It is designed to meet the spiritual and sacramental needs of children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), also called "Why Catholic?" at Holy Angels, is for adults wishing to be baptized and/or confirmed Catholic. Classes meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Two sessions are run throughout the year, one starting in July and one starting in November/December. Participants can receive the sacraments at the Easter Vigil if they are ready. Registration is required which can be done by contacting Deacon Mark Jansen at (262) 334-0140. Adult Formation Programs and activities are offered throughout the year to provide opportunities for spiritual enrichment for the adults in our parish. |
